    Capitalizing 5G monetization

Service providers will be able to take advantage of 5G for monetization with three main business models:

Business-to-Consumer (B2C) – This model will use the capabilities and features of 5G networks to improve service offerings and products delivered to end customers. The monetization elements will be Quality of Service (QoS) based data and subscriptions, content and media sharing, and partners.

Business-to-Business (B2B) – Model with great potential growth for CSPs to increase value and help driving Industry 4.0. Here, they should try to monetize several forms of connectivity and simplify intelligent operations and automation.

Business-to-Business-to-Any (B2B2X) – Biggest potential growth area for operators. The flexible structure of 5G networks will enable CSPs to equip application developers and Readiness IT www.readinessit.com comunica@readinessit.com device manufacturers with embedded connectivity and virtual networks as services. Soon, this can be a new wholesale strategy where operators provide open platforms to their customers, so they can subscribe to their services more easily and efficiently.
